to show ourselves approved by embracing a few of God's anointed. Our
Pastor (who is feeding us mostly) is Dr. Gary V. Whetstone of Victory
Christian Fellowship in New Castle, Delaware.(http://www.gwwm.com).
God has led us to follow his teachings as he delivers much meat from the
Word, Scripturally backed, filled with the Holy Spirit & Power,
teaches how to walk in the Righteousness & Authority that Jesus's
Crucifixtion & Resurrection delivered us into, and most importantly in these
last days....
HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD!
Hello, we are members of the "CHURCH". This is a "Home Church" that began in November 2005. The core of this church is three couples, who recently met each other.
It is such a God ordained work. One of the couples were having a Pastor friend come and stay with them to have a couple of meetings in the area. The first meeting went fine in a small Assembly of God church here on the islands of Vermont. The following night was to be another meeting in a nearby town at a New Life Church. We called in the am of the meeting day to confirm, there had been a tragedy and the Pastor was wrapped up in counsel of family and arrangements so he decided to cancel the meeting.
So our friend, Pastor Jerry Dueitt from North Carolina said, "Well, we will just have it here at the Darby home. I don't care if it is just you two and my wife...we are going to have a meeting and see what God does." So I sent out an email to cancel and invite others to come, but really felt it last minute and the ones that would come, had come the night before. About 3pm, I spoke with one of those friends, the Currys and they said "Oh yeah, we are coming back! and we are bring others!"
So 6pm, they arrived with one couple we had met but didn't really know and another couple we had never met. But all of the four couples had come through the Victory Center Church in Burlington with Pastor Anna Drinkwine, it seems...one right after another. Well, we had the meeting and God moved and brought forth an awesome word. We had great fellowship after and felt like we had known these people all of our lives.
Time went on and the next week the Reeds called and invited us to a couples gathering. From there, God was speaking to all of us about where we should be having "church". We were getting confirmation from each other without ever discussing it before , that we were to come together as in the Book of Acts...breaking bread in our homes, fellowship and bringing forth the Word of God. Thus, we all prayed, got release from our previous churches and began meeting on Sundays.
It has been a time of awesome worship, revelation in the Word, deep
teaching and hearing the Voice of the Father! We have been study a few
ministries but the main ministry we follow is Victory Christian Fellowship
in New Castle, Delaware. Pastor Gary V. Whetstone and his wife, Pastor
Faye open the Word of God like we have never experienced before.
Pastor Whetstone is a graduate of Kenneth Hagin Ministries in
Oklahoma, many wonderful teachers have come out the that ministry school.
He opens the Word with great revelation, never having seen it before...it
becomes new. He stays true to Scripture, basing all of his teachings
directly on the Word.
We are growing by leaps and bounds in wisdom, understanding and revelation knowledge in knowing who we are in Christ Jesus. We carry the Resurrection Power as Jesus did, for God's Spirit is living inside us. Righteousness, Peace, Power & Joy in the Holy Spirit are ours to walk in the Victorious Life God has ordained for us since before the earth was formed.
We are excited to see what God does in our midst! No longer is church a duty or drudgery.....we look forward to coming together with an expectancy of hearing from the Father and walking in His Glory. For He is raising up a remnant of warriors who desire ALL of His Ways, to run for Him...To GO when He says GO...To DO when He says DO! He is looking for willing and obedient servants who will carry out His Plans on the earth and to prepare the way for when JESUS, LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS comes down to receive His own! We pray to have our lamps filled, ready and waiting for the glorious day!!! Thank You God for all that You are doing! Stay tuned for more of His wondrous works to be done and we OVERCOME BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB and the WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY!!
***God spoke to me six years ago the name of the website, Pinnacle of Peace. I built it about two years ago but it has not been used to the capacity that I know believe God is leading us to. We are here to speak His Word, share His Love, and let the Truth be known!!
